About the role

Join Ochsner’s pediatric infusion team on Jeff Highway, providing compassionate, high‑quality care to children. This full‑time RN position uses the nursing process to ensure safe, effective treatment while collaborating with a diverse, interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide tailored education.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to promote quality improvement.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation regulations.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• No prior work experience required.
