About the role
The RN New Grad Resident Program for Fall 2026 offers recent registered nursing graduates an intensive, structured residency to transition into professional practice within a leading academic medical center. Participants will rotate through key clinical areas, receive mentorship, and engage in ongoing education to build competency and confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of experienced nurses and physicians.
- Complete assigned clinical rotations in medical‑surgical, intensive care, and specialty units.
- Participate in daily hand‑offs, interdisciplinary rounds, and quality‑improvement projects.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
- Attend educational workshops, simulation labs, and mentorship meetings.
Required profile
- Recent graduate of an accredited RN program with a current Arkansas RN license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to the full residency duration beginning Fall 2026.
Required skills
- Clinical assessment and patient care fundamentals.
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation.
