RN House Supervisor (PRN) – Day Shift

About the role

The RN House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient patient care delivery on the day shift. This PRN position works closely with nursing staff, monitors quality of care, and leads the team in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a resource to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Round frequently throughout the shift to identify issues that need administrative action and communicate them to the appropriate level.
• Supervise and lead staff effectively.
• Provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to patient ages.
• Adapt behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication preferences.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma (required).
• Associate's degree in nursing (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience (required).
• Critical care or charge nurse experience (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and CCRN certification (preferred).

• Ability to move throughout the department, hospital, and off‑campus sites.
