RN - BHSL Women's Unit

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the BHSL Women's Unit on the night shift. This position provides direct nursing care to women patients in a collaborative, academic medical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Women's Unit, including assessments, medication administration, and patient education.
• Monitor vital signs, manage IV therapy, and respond to emergent situations promptly.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in accordance with hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current UAMS employee, student employee, or graduate assistant with access to Workday.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
