About the role

This entry‑level Retail Sales Analyst role supports Earthbound’s retail analytics team by pulling, cleaning and interpreting sales data across multiple merchandise categories. The analyst will produce ad‑hoc reports and visual presentations that help the business understand performance trends and make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Extract and analyze sales, margin and space data for key brands and sub‑categories.
  • Conduct deep‑dive analyses to identify what is working and what is not.
  • Prepare ad‑hoc reports and PowerPoint presentations for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

  • Strong passion for numbers and the ability to tell a story with data.
  • Detail‑oriented, collaborative and able to explain analysis results clearly.
  • Self‑starter who can manage workload and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Required skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX‑MATCH, charts, conditional formatting).
  • Proficient PowerPoint for presenting findings.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as DSS, Scintilla or Retail Link.
