Research Associate I – Protein Science & Analytics

About the role

EVERY™ is seeking an entry‑level Research Associate I to work at the intersection of Protein Science and Analytics. You will support protein development, purification, and analytical workflows while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing precision‑fermentation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate data using basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques such as BCA assays and SDS‑PAGE.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC‑UV/RI, Combustion Analyzer, dynamic light scattering, FPLC‑UV, and fluorescence/UV plate readers.
• Support bench‑scale protein powder generation through microfiltration, ultrafiltration, and diafiltration.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and buffers for cross‑functional experiments.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to troubleshoot and iterate within the Design‑Build‑Test‑Learn pipeline.
• Present experimental results to scientific teams and maintain thorough documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Hands‑on lab experience with an emphasis on analytical instrumentation.
• Detail‑oriented approach to note‑taking, reporting, and communication.
• Comfortable with basic wet‑lab techniques, especially pipetting with single and multichannel pipettes.
• Collaborative, organized, and enthusiastic about working across teams.
