About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a Research Associate to support applied economic research focused on water resources. The role involves designing surveys, building models, analyzing data, and contributing to scholarly publications within a dynamic academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement surveys related to water resource economics.
- Conduct quantitative modeling and econometric analysis of collected data.
- Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations for academic and stakeholder audiences.
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and the dissemination of research findings.
- Collaborate with faculty and research teams on project deliverables.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in economics, environmental/resource economics, natural resource management, or a related field by the start date.
- Advanced training in quantitative methods, microeconomics, and applied econometrics.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
Required skills
- Experience with survey development tools, specifically Qualtrics.
- Proficiency using optimization software for economic modeling.
