RESEA Relief Coordinator (DOL Services Specialist)

About the role

The Georgia Department of Labor is hiring DOL Services Specialists to serve as RESEA Relief/Administrative Coordinators. In this remote position you will support unemployed claimants through virtual appointments, conduct structured barrier assessments, and develop individualized re‑employment plans.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual interviews with RESEA participants to gather employment‑related information.
• Schedule and manage virtual appointments, ensuring timely delivery of services.
• Perform structured barrier assessments for unemployment insurance claimants selected for RESEA.
• Develop and document Individual Re‑employment Plans and provide referrals to partner agencies.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal program requirements and keep accurate records.
• Communicate findings and issues to unemployment insurance staff and coordinate with partner agencies for workshops, job fairs, and training events.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision while providing career development and assessment services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual interactions.
• Flexibility to fill in for RESEA Coordinators during leave or high‑volume periods.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to program guidelines.
