Requirements Evaluation and Design (RED) Team Lead

About the role

The RED Team Lead will direct a team that assesses and designs Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for IT infrastructure and network architecture enhancements in a DoD environment. This senior position works closely with DoD customers and multi-contractor teams to ensure solutions meet requirements, standards, and cost constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assessment of customer‑submitted network requirements via a government ticketing system.
• Guide the design of ECPs to ensure robustness, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with standards.
• Act as primary liaison between the project team and DoD customers, clarifying requirements and addressing execution challenges.
• Oversee creation of project documentation such as Change Requests, ECP Waiver Requests, and Status Reports.
• Implement project‑management best practices and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years experience as a lead project manager in a DoD IT environment.
• Strong mathematics and IT analytical abilities.
• Proven managerial, leadership, and communication skills.

Required skills

• MS Office suite.
• Preparation of detailed cost estimate reports.
