Report Writer

About the role

3 Squared Technology Group is hiring a Report Writer for a remote position. The role covers developing report specifications, writing and debugging report code, maintaining existing reports and moving approved code through test and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, develop specifications for Report Writer activities and turn design documents into Report Writer code
• Test and debug Report Writer code, maintain existing reports and code, and document the code
• Move approved code from development to test and/or staging and production environments
• Troubleshoot problem areas
• Document software changes in line with CMMI level 3

Required profile

• BA or BS degree or certification desired
• Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL and its built-in functions
• Working knowledge of strict XML
• Team player who asks questions
• Basic grasp of Java or how object-oriented programming works
• Extensive experience with Oracle SQL Developer or a similar Oracle database tool
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and data manipulation within the application
• Understanding of JIRA
