Remote Weekend Dietitian

About the role

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Remote Weekend Dietitian to work with acute care facilities across the United States. The role provides Medical Nutrition Therapy and nutrition education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. It is fully remote, with availability of at least one weekend day per week.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to patients, families, staff and the community
• Apply the latest research in line with the diet manual, company policies and facility protocols
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Partner with the food service management team to support patient satisfaction and service goals
• Mentor staff and dietetic interns through education and training

Required profile

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible for the CDR exam; licensed dietitian in the state of practice, or willing to obtain licensure
• Healthcare experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
• 2 years of on-site experience preferred
