Remote Records Clerk – Entry Level

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Records Clerk to join our client’s fully remote team. This entry‑level position focuses on maintaining accurate digital filing systems, ensuring records are complete, organized, and easily accessible for teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and verify records in electronic filing and database systems.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
• Organize and index digital files using established naming conventions.
• Retrieve and prepare records for internal requests.
• Monitor record retention schedules and flag items for archiving or disposal.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Communicate with team members to resolve discrepancies.
• Scan, convert, and file paper documents into digital formats.
• Assist with routine audits of recordkeeping systems.
• Support other clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
