About the role
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking experienced English Language Arts (ELA) specialists to deliver remote tutoring for high‑school students in grades 9‑12. Sessions are one hour long and the role is part‑time, offering a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct 60‑minute virtual tutoring sessions for individual or small‑group students.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with state standards and student needs.
- Provide feedback and progress reports to students and parents.
- Maintain a consistent weekly availability of 4‑10 hours.
Required profile
- Earned Bachelor’s degree.
- Current or prior experience as a state‑certified ELA teacher or private high‑school ELA instructor.
- At least two years of teaching or tutoring experience with grades 9‑12.
- Ability to work remotely from the United States.
Required skills
- Proficiency in delivering English Language Arts instruction online.
