Remote Accounting Services Manager (PST)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead a remote team of client‑facing accountants while delivering exceptional service to our clients. The role is fully remote, operates during traditional daytime business hours, and focuses on both client delight and team delight.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality accounting and operational services, overseeing client onboarding and ongoing support.
• Monitor and coach team members, reviewing work quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgets.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with client executives and proactively identify solutions.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and hire remote accountants.
• Balance workflow by matching client needs with accountant expertise and capacity.
• Maintain profit margins for assigned clients and conduct performance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including 4 years of hands‑on management of remote teams.
• Ability to work 32‑35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, during standard business hours.
• Proven track record of attracting, building, and retaining high‑performance teams.

• QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online.
• Bill.com.
• Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook).
• HubDoc.
