Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Unit Night Shift (7pm-7am)

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care on the Orthopedic/Med‑Surg unit during the night shift, applying the Nursing Process and adhering to professional standards. The role involves delegating, directing and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively uses the Nursing Process in patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicates, delegates and manages nursing team resources and serves as a leader on the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Utilizes data to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.

Required profile

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Education: Registered Nurse Diploma; preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Ability to work night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) in an orthopedic/med‑surg unit.
