Registered Nurse – Main Operating Room (Mid Shift)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Main Operating Room during the mid shift. This position supports peri‑operative services and contributes to high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced surgical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgery in the Main OR.
• Assist the surgical team with patient preparation, intra‑operative monitoring, and post‑operative hand‑off.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate care.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the United States.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Experience in peri‑operative or operating‑room nursing preferred.
• Ability to work the designated mid‑shift schedule.
