Registered Nurse – In‑House Telemetry (12‑week assignment)

About the role

This 12‑week, in‑house telemetry assignment in Monroe, Louisiana, is designed for a registered nurse who will lead patient care delivery using the nursing process. The RN will coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure quality outcomes, and support the organization’s nursing philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and staff, adapting communication to diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
• Analyze data and information to drive improvements and achieve optimal clinical results.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
• Participate in unit and department strategic initiatives and promote a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong judgment, effective communication, and ability to work with computer‑based applications.
