Registered Nurse – Freeway Endoscopy

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Freeway Endoscopy Lab within the Perioperative Services. The RN will work the day shift providing direct patient care and supporting endoscopic procedures in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for endoscopic examinations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including equipment handling and patient monitoring.
• Document patient information, procedure details, and post‑procedure instructions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and sterile endoscopy suite in compliance with infection‑control standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient flow and address clinical concerns.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System with access to Workday.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Active Registered Nurse license.

Required skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
