Registered Nurse – Apheresis

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Apheresis Program. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct patient care and supports a high‑volume apheresis service within a leading academic medical center.

Key responsibilities

• Perform apheresis procedures and monitor patients throughout treatment.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective care.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure in Arkansas.
• Experience in clinical nursing, preferably in apheresis or related specialty.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work day‑shift hours on site.
