Regional Safety Manager – Construction (LA/OC)

About the role
The Regional Safety Manager plays a critical role in protecting our people, supporting our projects, and strengthening our safety culture across the organization. Based in Orange County, CA, this role partners closely with field leaders, project teams, and corporate leadership to ensure safe, responsible work in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Champion a proactive, people‑first safety culture built on trust, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a visible safety leader in the field, building strong relationships with project teams, superintendents and site safety professionals.
- Coach field leadership on safety conversations, observations and safe construction planning.
- Develop, implement and monitor safety policies aligned with California and Federal OSHA standards.
- Support creation and execution of site‑specific safety plans, job hazard analyses and pre‑task planning.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, report findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations using root‑cause analysis and track safety metrics.
- Provide first‑aid and CPR training, coordinate emergency response procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management or related field preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 500/510 or equivalent a plus).
- Professional safety certifications such as CSP, ASP or CHST preferred.
- Strong report‑writing and root‑cause analysis abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for training and development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
