Recruiter – Path to Head of Talent

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Recruiter who will own the end‑to‑end hiring process and grow into a Head of Talent within 1‑2 years. Based in New York, you will work on‑site with the founders of a fast‑moving crypto‑trading startup, shaping the talent function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruiting across multiple open positions and manage relationships with external recruiting partners.
• Source, identify and map strong candidate pools for each role.
• Develop candidate profiles, evaluation criteria and clear hiring standards.
• Partner closely with founders to refine sourcing strategy, improve response times and ensure seamless coordination.
• Transition the hiring process from intuition‑based to a systematic, scalable approach as the team expands.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition or a closely related function.
• Exposure to startups, venture‑capital‑backed environments or quant‑style talent needs.
• Strong desire to specialize in talent and progress to a Head of Talent role.
• Highly organized, fast‑moving and comfortable managing many moving parts.
• Bonus: experience recruiting for early‑stage startups or background at a venture firm or recruiting‑focused organization.
