About the role
The Cornerstone Program at CAMBA is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, callers, and participants. You will support the Program Director and staff by managing communications, mail, and office logistics in a busy community‑center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and route phone calls, retrieve voicemail messages, and provide callers with information about the organization.
- Welcome onsite visitors, determine the purpose of their visit, and notify the appropriate staff member.
- Maintain appointment calendars, update the site bulletin board weekly, and keep the reception area professional.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and publications; manage package logs and program paperwork.
- Operate and assist users of fax and copy machines, send and retrieve faxes.
- Order, receive, and inventory office supplies.
- Create and print memos, correspondence, reports, and marketing materials as needed.
- Administer application forms, schedule assessments, and maintain filing systems for waiting lists and applications.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating.
Required profile
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English.
- At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in a mid‑sized organization (250+ employees).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy with the Microsoft Office Suite.
