Real Estate Team Lead – Chicago

About the role

Smart City Realty is expanding its full‑service brokerage in Chicago and is looking for a dynamic Team Lead to drive both personal production and the performance of a growing team of Realtors®. You will generate your own pipeline of buyers and sellers while mentoring agents to achieve high‑level results.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently build and manage a pipeline of buyer and seller clients, setting and exceeding personal and team revenue goals.
• Earn commissions from your own transactions and from the closed deals of your team.
• Host regular training sessions, co‑working meetups and provide one‑on‑one coaching to develop agents’ skills and transaction management.
• Recruit, onboard and train former Smart City Apartment Locators and external Realtors® who align with the company culture.
• Maintain deep contract knowledge, MLS expertise and local market insight to guide clients through the buying or selling process.

Required profile

• Active real‑estate license and Realtor® membership.
• Minimum $8 M in sales volume in the past 12 months, or $10 M total closed sales, or 30 closed transactions.
• Strong experience in Chicago neighborhoods, including comps, off‑market inventory and fair market values.
• Proven negotiation expertise with success in multiple‑offer situations.
