Quality Inspector – 3rd Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Tilton, NH manufacturing plant on the 3rd (night) shift. In this role you will help ensure that raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products meet 3M’s high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standardized, specialized or complex tests, measurements and inspections on raw materials, semi‑finished and finished goods.
• Maintain and verify compliance with 3M quality procedures and standards.
• Teach plant personnel quality methods and measurement techniques.
• Conduct daily floor audits, quantify results and generate reports.
• Operate precision test equipment and record findings.
• Support product development, process scale‑ups and production processes through quality testing.
• Perform other quality‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED (or higher) completed before start date.
• At least 1 year of combined quality and/or laboratory experience in a private, public, government or military setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with strong data‑collection abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, multitask and maintain attention to detail.
