Quality Assurance Analyst - Junior Tester

About the role

IntelliBee is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst to join its team in Columbia, SC. In this role you will execute manual tests on technical solutions, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure high‑quality releases for healthcare applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, smoke, usability and boundary test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Maintain traceability matrices linking test cases to requirements, designs and software components.
• Participate in defect triage meetings, retest resolved issues and document outcomes.
• Generate quality assurance reports and documentation as required.
• Support test leads and senior testers by following established SDLC and Agile processes.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience translating business or policy requirements into test cases and scenarios.
• 2 years of hands‑on manual testing experience covering functional, regression, smoke, usability and boundary testing.
• 3 years of experience working within healthcare operations, preferably Medicaid, and understanding related business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, healthcare or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QA management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps and TestRail.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including waterfall and Agile delivery.
