About the role
Infosys is seeking a Python Lead to join its Financial Services unit in Jersey City. The role focuses on driving digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑led innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project timelines, proactively identifying and resolving resource gaps.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating regular meetings and milestone reviews.
- Support the technical team in adhering to SDLC processes and ensuring deliverables meet client specifications.
- Monitor project deliverables across all phases to meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Assist in creating project budgets aligned with scope, strategy and key deliverables.
- Identify scope changes and new client requests, estimate effort, obtain approvals and secure sign‑offs.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience in Python development, automation, scripting and application support.
- Proven ability to manage risks, communicate effectively with stakeholders and balance project economics with strategic priorities.
- Experience leading technical projects in a financial services or consulting environment is preferred.
