About the role

Infosys' Data and Analytics (DNA) unit is looking for a PySpark Developer to join its technology consulting team in Hartford, CT. The position focuses on building and maintaining big‑data processing solutions on AWS, contributing to the delivery of AI‑driven analytics for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements during the elicitation process.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions for the development team.
• Code new features and integrate updates into existing PySpark applications while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, modify the codebase and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug‑fixes to uphold quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth application adoption.
• Participate in production issue resolution and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities for knowledge sharing.
