Purchasing Manager – Vehicle Procurement (NYC)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Purchasing Manager to join our vehicle procurement team in Midtown Manhattan. The role supports our rapid growth driven by increased demand from international clients and offers the chance to learn the business while thriving in a results‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Source new vehicles and develop business opportunities with suppliers nationwide.
• Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective suppliers.
• Build and nurture new supplier relationships.
• Conduct general industry research to stay informed on market trends.
• Negotiate and oversee vehicle purchase transactions.
• Arrange transportation and delivery of vehicles.

Required profile

• Experience in the automotive sector, preferably within a franchised dealership handling premium or luxury makes.
• High degree of resourcefulness, ability to improvise and think quickly.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (clean driving record preferred).
