Public Relations Manager (Enterprise Security)

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will join Motorola Solutions' Global Communications & Media team in Chicago, supporting the North America Enterprise Security business. This role combines strategic communication planning, media relations, and project management to amplify the company’s enterprise security story to reporters, investors, and key audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic communications partner to Enterprise Security sales leaders, gathering insights for messaging and media pitching.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align external communications with business objectives.
• Develop and execute external communication plans, including press releases, blog posts, and pitches.
• Build and maintain relationships with national, local, and trade media, regularly pitching enterprise security stories.
• Manage communications activities surrounding priority North America tradeshows and events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media relations and external communications within a technology or security environment.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business insights into compelling narratives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of producing concise, engaging content.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams.
