Public Relations Associate – Visual Communications

About the role

Walt Disney World Public Relations is looking for a strategic and creative Associate to help shape and share compelling stories across the resort’s parks, resorts, Disney Springs, festivals and more. The role focuses on visual communication, turning complex information into clear, engaging graphics, presentations and data‑driven storytelling tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design visually compelling PR assets such as infographics, executive summaries, presentations, dashboards and other storytelling tools.
• Track and compile PR performance metrics, including media coverage, sentiment, influencer results and campaign impact.
• Maintain the digital asset library of photo and video content and support media‑list and project‑management systems.
• Assist in executing external publicity strategies for new product launches, attraction openings, refurbishments, seasonal offerings and special events.
• Draft press materials, media advisories and social media content under senior staff guidance.
• Capture and organize content (photo, video, short‑form social) in partnership with internal creative, production and operations teams.
• Coordinate logistics for media visits, influencer experiences and special events.
• Monitor media coverage, assess outcomes and compile coverage reports.

Required profile

• A passion for visual communication and an eye for design.
• Ability to translate complex information into succinct, easy‑to‑understand visuals.
• Comfort with technology and quick adaptation to new platforms.
• Highly organized, able to support a fast‑paced, high‑visibility PR environment.

Required skills

• Strong visual design skills demonstrated through a personal portfolio.
