Public Partnership Officer (Temporary, P-2) – Washington DC

About the role

The Public Partnership Officer (P-2) will support UNICEF's Public Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Division in Washington DC. Working under the supervision of a Public Partnerships Specialist, the incumbent will deepen collaboration with U.S. Government stakeholders and facilitate knowledge exchange, resource mobilization, and policy influence for health emergency preparedness and response.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen partnerships with key U.S. Government agencies and international financial institutions.
• Coordinate knowledge‑exchange activities and support policy dialogue related to health emergencies.
• Document program outputs and ensure compliance with agreement reporting requirements.
• Provide targeted administrative and operational support to senior staff.
• Collaborate closely with Programme Group colleagues on the UNICEF‑US portfolio.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international relations, public policy, development studies or a related field.
• Relevant experience in public partnerships, resource mobilization, or government liaison, preferably within an international organization.
• Strong understanding of health emergency preparedness and response frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
