About the role
The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities is seeking a dedicated psychologist to join the Adult Mental Health (AMH) team at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta. This position focuses on delivering high‑quality psychological care to individuals with serious mental illness.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based psychological assessments and interventions for adult patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Supervise and mentor doctoral‑level interns, practicum students, and post‑doctoral fellows.
- Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) with appropriate licensure.
- Experience or strong interest in working with serious mental illness.
- Commitment to a learning‑oriented environment and interdisciplinary collaboration.
