About the role

The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA) is seeking a Provider Relations Specialist to serve as the primary liaison between GVRA staff, community rehabilitation programs, and external service providers. The role involves developing, negotiating, and evaluating provider contracts while ensuring compliance and quality across the provider network.

Key responsibilities

  • Contact and recruit potential vendors/providers for the GVRA network.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, providers, and internal staff.
  • Initiate and manage provider contracts and service agreements.
  • Schedule and conduct monthly provider visits and annual reviews.
  • Provide training to providers on agency expectations such as invoicing and progress reporting.

Required profile

  • High school diploma/GED plus four years of business or accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory responsibility for a team, including performance management and hiring.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
