About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a dynamic Project/Program Director to lead the TRIO McNair Program. This 12‑month appointment reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Student Success, and provides vision and leadership for the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and oversee all aspects of the McNair program, including services, staff hiring, training, and evaluation.
- Manage program budget, maintain accurate records, and prepare annual and semester reports.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and institutional policies governing the program.
- Collaborate with university departments and external partners to enhance program outcomes.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in higher education, counseling, adult education, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in program administration, preferably within a higher‑education setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and produce detailed reports.
