About the role
The State of Georgia is seeking a Project Manager (Non-IT) to oversee construction, furniture, and technology projects across multiple agencies. Reporting to the Space Quality Manager, you will coordinate schedules, manage contracts, and serve as the BLLIP database administrator.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute, IT, and Outreach Services to monitor the BLLIP Technology Refresh Contract.
- Maintain and present BLLIP data for decision‑makers and manage project schedules using QuickBase/SATMT.
- Organize kick‑off meetings, attend agency briefings, and review landlord‑provided schedules and costs.
- Assist agencies with finish selections, construction updates, and compliance inspections.
- Conduct site visits, review punch‑lists, and ensure proper turnover of spaces.
- Own new projects independently and serve on selection committees for agency RFPs.
- Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year of relevant professional experience.
- Preferred: Undergraduate degree and two years of project or property management experience.
