Project Manager

About the role

Haugland Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction projects in the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas and St. Croix). The role involves full‑cycle project support, from submittal processing to budget analysis and material management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Management team on engineering plans and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
• Facilitate change order processes, prepare monthly budget analyses and cost‑to‑complete projections.
• Maintain and update the CPM baseline and manage RFIs and engineering inquiries.
• Ensure all project materials are approved, delivered, tracked, and recorded in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with finance to review and evaluate monthly project costs.
• Keep the company ERP system current with all project information.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably delivering utility power infrastructure projects (overhead and underground T&D systems).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical or mechanical engineering preferred, or equivalent trade‑union experience.
• Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of initiative.
