Project Leader - Technology Finance

About the role

The Project Leader sits on the Analytics & Tooling team and manages and enhances the Technology Non-Labor data ecosystem. The role owns the end-to-end Non-Labor data pipeline and reporting platforms, delivering accurate, scalable and actionable financial data for planning, forecasting, reporting and business decisions. It is a virtual position based in Georgia, reporting to the Sr Finance Manager with no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day management, maintenance and enhancement of the Non-Labor financial data pipeline, using SQL, Google BigQuery (including Dataform), Tableau and related tools.
• Serve as product owner for existing Non-Labor reporting solutions, including Tableau dashboards.
• Drive improvements in automation and process efficiency to improve scalability and insight into total technology cost of ownership.
• Support the integration of labor and non-labor financial management by helping develop, test, implement and support future reporting and tooling solutions.
• Project control: plan and monitor scope, schedule and cost, coordinate change documentation and approved changes.
• Project communications: share project information with the team and stakeholders, write status reports and scorecards, and present reviews to senior leadership.
• Risk assessment: define risks, monitor them and escalate or mitigate them in a timely way.
• Capture lessons learned after each project or phase and share them with peer Project Leaders.
• Maintain a good working environment and ensure teams are staffed and roles are clear.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred: prior experience in corporate finance and/or retail.
• Preferred: bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Preferred: 3 years of work experience.
• Travel typically under 10% overnight; mostly sitting work in an indoor setting.
