Project Implementation Engineer (RF Systems / IP Networking / Field Integration)

About the role

A recruiter is hiring a Project Implementation Engineer to lead the deployment of advanced radio communication systems tailored to client needs. The work covers system integration, staging, field implementation, optimization, technical documentation and troubleshooting. The role is based in Florida and involves travel to client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Execute on-site deployment, staging and integration of complex RF communication systems.
• Perform optimization, diagnostics and system troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain and update technical documentation throughout each project's lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and present technical information clearly to both groups.
• Travel to client sites up to 60% of the time for deployment and support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting RF and/or IP network systems.
• Valid driver's license; must pass standard pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Preferred: experience with digital voice and radio systems, and familiarity with RF, microwave and fiber optic technologies.

Required skills

• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, Linux, VMware and Hyper-V.
• Network diagnostic tools and protocols such as SSH, FTP, packet analyzers and Cisco/Linux CLI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio.
• Strong verbal and written communication, especially with non-technical audiences.
