Branch Manager - Service Center Operations, RF Communications & Customer Relations

About the role

The Branch Manager is the main point of contact for customers in the assigned service area, overseeing a team of Radio Frequency (RF) Technicians, administrative staff and other support personnel. The role keeps the service center efficient, meeting response time goals and delivering quality for both on-demand and contract services. It involves monitoring workflows, improving productivity and building a customer-first culture. The position is independent and proactive, with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Oversee service center operations, keeping them efficient, on schedule and to quality standards.
• Build and strengthen customer relationships and expand the client base.
• Manage sales activities within the assigned area.
• Monitor and achieve profit and loss (P&L) objectives for the center.
• Protect and manage physical assets, inventory and property of the service center.
• Plan and administer the service center budget.
• Implement and uphold regional policies, procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in emergency services, fire department, law enforcement or military operations preferred.
• 3-5 years in progressively responsible management roles.
• Experience working under high-pressure conditions to meet objectives.
• Background in RF communications is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for training or other operational needs.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of telecommunications concepts and systems.
• Database use and report generation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Resource planning and budgeting experience.
• Able to keep accurate records on timekeeping, attendance, safety incidents and disciplinary actions.
• Comfortable presenting to small groups of customers.
