Project Engineer – Hydraulic & Electromechanical Systems

About the role

Moog is seeking a Project Engineer to lead production programs for hydraulic and electromechanical actuators. Based in Chatsworth, CA, you will manage product delivery across the entire lifecycle, from proposal support to design reviews, qualification, and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product requirements by consulting with customers and sales teams.
• Perform trade studies and engineering analyses to validate concepts.
• Prepare proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical volume documentation.
• Lead experimental development test programs to ensure reliable designs.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results in clear, concise reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related STEM field).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in design/development engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
