Project Biller – Accounting for Engineering Projects

About the role

Artheon is looking for a Project Biller to join its accounting team in Berlin, NJ. The role focuses on billing and financial management for transportation engineering projects, with opportunities to grow into broader project accounting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete project billing process for transportation engineering projects, including invoicing and billing schedules.
• Review timesheets and expense reports for accuracy and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Perform credit‑card reconciliation, generate monthly revenue reports, and support project financial reporting.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and collections to determine project status.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or project billing experience, preferably in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC) industry.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and experience reviewing employee timesheets and expense reports.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Base salary range $65,000‑$75,000 per year.
