Program Director / Faculty – Neuromuscular Massage Therapy

About the role

Join the State of Georgia’s education team as a Program Director/Faculty member focused on Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. The position leads the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program, ensuring high‑quality instruction, curriculum relevance, and student success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the program’s mission, philosophy, curriculum, syllabi, goals, and outcomes.
• Oversee continuous quality assessment, improvement initiatives, budget preparation, and compliance with college and statewide reporting requirements.
• Document and evaluate the PTA education program while providing mentorship and critique to students in classroom, simulation, and clinical settings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in a healthcare or physical therapy education program.
• Experience in curriculum development and strong written/oral communication skills.
• Current CPR certification.

Required skills

• Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Knowledge of CAPTE accreditation processes.
• CPR certification (and CPR Instructor certification preferred).
