Program Coordinator I (Part‑Time)

About the role

The University is seeking a part‑time Program Coordinator I to support LS25‑410, a multi‑institutional, grant‑funded initiative that examines how cultural understanding influences agricultural producers' disaster coping strategies. The role will assist the principal investigator and project team in ensuring efficient administration, timely deliverables, and compliance with grant requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Organize daily project activities, maintain timelines, and track deliverables.
• Assist with resource allocation, reporting, and outreach activities.
• Facilitate communication among faculty, extension personnel, producers, and other stakeholders across multiple states and Caribbean territories.
• Respond to general and complex inquiries or complaints related to the project.
• Support the principal investigator in grant compliance and documentation.

Required profile

• Education and experience commensurate with a university‑level program coordination role.
• Experience managing multi‑institutional or grant‑funded projects is preferred.
• Ability to work half‑time (part‑time) and adapt to project timelines.
