Program Coordinator I – Continuing & Professional Education

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Program Coordinator I to support the daily operations of the Continuing & Professional Education (CPED) unit at Texas A&M University. The role involves managing in‑person training events, providing high‑quality customer support, and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage CPED’s in‑person professional development programs, handling logistics and implementation.
• Compile data, prepare reports, and assist with proposal creation and partner meetings.
• Create marketing and training materials for the unit.
• Support the network of CPED users across the university, assisting with project timelines and recruitment efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of relevant experience, preferably in event coordination or higher education settings.
• Ability to work under deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using a learning management system such as Canvas.
• Experience creating and editing technical documents.
• Video creation and editing skills.
