Program Coordinator – Full Time

About the role

The University of Miami's Miami Project seeks a full‑time Program Coordinator to manage day‑to‑day operations, support participants and families, and help advance the program’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of The Miami Project program, including scheduling visits, managing walk‑in inquiries and maintaining a welcoming presence in the Office of Education and Outreach.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, families and community partners, providing information, referrals and follow‑up communication.
• Collect, compile and analyze program activity data, draft reports and evaluations, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain the participant recruitment database, ensure data quality and generate study‑specific recruitment lists.
• Develop and sustain relationships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies and advocacy groups to support outreach and research initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work evenings, nights and weekends as needed and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills under pressure.
