Program Associate – Cotton Verification Coordinator

About the role

The Arkansas Cotton Research Verification Program needs a dedicated coordinator to manage its extension activities. This role bridges research findings and on‑farm practice, ensuring cotton growers receive up‑to‑date, science‑based recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor cotton verification trials across the state.
• Collaborate with county Extension agents, growers, and the advisory committee to align program goals.
• Collect, analyze, and report field data to demonstrate research technology performance.
• Prepare extension materials and conduct on‑farm demonstrations and workshops.
• Maintain records, budgets, and schedules for the verification program.

Required profile

• Background in agricultural sciences, preferably with focus on cotton production.
• Experience in extension, research coordination, or related field work.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with growers, agents, and researchers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple field projects.
