Program Associate – Agricultural Research

About the role

The Program Associate supports the Vegetable Research Station by managing all aspects of field plot research. Reporting to the Resident Director, the role ensures smooth operation of research activities and coordination with project leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain research equipment.
• Plan plots, prepare soil, and conduct planting, spraying, and irrigation.
• Perform routine maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Harvest crops and record detailed observations.
• Supervise classified and seasonal hourly employees.
• Maintain accurate records of all research activities.

Required profile

• Experience managing field‑plot research activities.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with multiple project leaders.
• Strong attention to detail for record‑keeping and data management.
