About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Professor in the College of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery, with a joint appointment to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville (UAF). This senior academic position focuses on building and leading collaborative research initiatives across both institutions.

Key responsibilities

Develop research collaborations between UAMS and UAF.
Establish and lead UAMS research teams to secure external funding.
Serve as lead researcher on projects as needed.
Provide guidance and mentorship to researchers pursuing external grants.

Required profile

Ph.D. degree.
Current or prior appointment as a Professor.
Joint academic appointment to both UAMS and UAF.
Affiliation with the College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery.
