About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) seeks a Professor in the College of Medicine Department of Neurosurgery, with a joint appointment to the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville (UAF). This senior academic position focuses on building and leading collaborative research initiatives across both institutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop research collaborations between UAMS and UAF.
- Establish and lead UAMS research teams to secure external funding.
- Serve as lead researcher on projects as needed.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to researchers pursuing external grants.
Required profile
- Ph.D. degree.
- Current or prior appointment as a Professor.
- Joint academic appointment to both UAMS and UAF.
- Affiliation with the College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery.
