Production Weld Shop Assembly Technician

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a Production Weld Shop Assembly Technician to join its Wilmington, OH service center. The role involves supporting the weld shop’s daily output by preparing equipment, handling components, and ensuring a safe, efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up weld jugs and related equipment for welders.
• Monitor raw‑material levels at stations and notify the production lead when supplies run low.
• Remove welded components from jigs and place them on the production line.
• Align and assemble finished components, installing bolts as required.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas while meeting production targets.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the lead or manager.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, bend, twist, push or pull for an entire shift.
• Capability to lift 50+ lbs safely.
• Commitment to follow all safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.

What we offer

• Starting pay of $23.29 per hour.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑3:30 pm.
