Production Support Specialist – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Support Specialist ensures accurate material movement and inventory control on the production floor for Nestlé’s food brands. This role verifies incoming materials, issues them to job numbers, and supports continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Verify material codes, barcodes, expiration dates, packaging condition, and staged locations before entering the production room.
• Issue materials to the appropriate job numbers and immediately report any quantity discrepancies to the Production Supervisor.
• Requisition materials from warehouse personnel and run variance reports to compare staged versus used material.
• Print and monitor bin reports, suggest procedural changes, and assist leads in maintaining accurate staging bin inventory.
• Maintain a clean, debris‑free work area, follow GMP and safety policies, and report unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• 1‑3 months of related experience or equivalent education/training.
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Comfortable reading safety rules, operating instructions, and policy manuals.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge.
